Find a Scent That Feels Like Your Story

The best scent is the one you enjoy after the first spray.

A perfume can bring back a place in one second: a garden, a kitchen, a warm car ride, or a hug. That is why a scent can feel so personal. It is also why the most popular bottle may not be the right one for you.

Think of a smell you already love. Is it fresh fruit, clean soap, flowers, warm spice, or something sweet? Use that as a starting point. If you visit a store, try only a few scents at once. Read the name and notes, then give each one time. A scent may change as it sits on your skin.

Ask yourself how it feels later, not only when you first spray it. Would you enjoy it at work, at dinner, or on a quiet day at home? You may like one scent for every day and another for a special mood. You are allowed to change your mind.

Use a small amount as directed. If fragrance bothers your skin or breathing, skip it or choose another way to enjoy the moment. Smelling good to yourself can be as simple as clean clothes and a product you like.
